In the frame of the BIDUCOR project an upgrade of ESR beam instrumentation is necessary, too. Goals of these upgrade activities are:

• modernization of the equipment
• standardization of technical solutions, e.g. usage of LIBERAs for BPMs etc.
• required updates of the ESR BI to allow retrofit and CS restart in 2018
• technical preparations for the full digital control room

DC current transformer:

• analogue signal must be available in HKR, required by experimentalists
• only 2 measurement ranges are typically in use
• DAQ upgrade similar to SIS18 should be foreseen
