The image below shows the detector setup for the 2014 measurement series. Not shown are in-air experiment setups like the sctintillating screen target ladder and two vertical actuators (pneumatic drive and stepper motor drive) with air ionisation chamber or multi-wire chamber.

Possible detector configurations for the FAIR HEBT chamber (type 3):

The chamber HTPDK1 is equipped with:
- HTPDI1P: Plastic scintillator
- HTPDI1I: Ionisation chamber
- HTPDI1S: SEM
- HTPDG1G: MWPC
