Lasa (Large Scaler Array) is a dedicated FESA class to read latching scalers:

• continuous readout
• hardware synchronization with a CMD_SEQ_START and/or CMD_BP_START event of a defined timing group using the first scaler channel
• handles multiple timing groups
• registers all machine events via FTRN
• sorts data according to beam process or sequence (best method to be determined later)
• latching frequency 1kHz for operational mode with multiple scalers (VME)
• handles additional hardware (i.e. VDIO) via subsets
