These three T-adapters are optional and only fit into the testing crate. For use the NI-cable to the PXI7811-board carrying the signals to be examined has to be disconnected at the MAPS-adapter and must be feed to one arm of a T-adapter. Then an additional cable is introduced at the other arm of T-adapter and feed to the origional port at the MAPS-adapter to close the signal line again. Having done that an examination of signals can be executed at VG-pins on the back of the test-crate or with an VG-extender board at the fron side.
Use of T-Testadapter: There are two different sources with two different cables running to the NI PXI-7811R FPGA-board. In order to examine signal flow fit in T-Testadapter by disconnecting direct connection (upper cable) at the MAPS-adapter in built in the “T” and an additional cable (like lower combination):
