====== RS485 -bus for counter control ======

| Integral part of here discribed system is a two wire half duplex RS485 bus to establish communication and command path to the builtin counter inside PA-Terminal at drive . That bus is used because it is able to give long distance (1,6km@9600 Baud) access to the PA-Terminal in field and has only pure sensibilty of hardware under radiation. As a bus i.e all six drives at one chamber could be addressed or further all 24 drives projected for one PLC. | Integrierter Bestandteil des hier beschriebenen Systemes ist ein zweidraht RS485 halbduplex Bus zur Kommunikation mit dem eingebauten Hubzähler im PA-Terminal am Antrieb. Dieser Bus wurde gewählt da er eine Kommunikation auf gößere Entfernungen (1,6 km@9600 Baud) unter geringen Heardwareanforderungen mit dem Counter bei Unanfälligkeit gegen harte Strahlungseffekte ermöglicht.|

| Requirement for this bus with long distances is a termination restistor of 120 Ω at both of the very far ends: One will be placed in Six fold Node and one in PLC-systems sender. If this system is cabable to suppord 4 Nodes then should be one seperated sender for each of that for proberbly "long arms". This resistor eliminates reflexions that can be seen at short cables with low data rate (as behind Nodes) but would otherwise occure disturbing at longer cables. | Erforderlich für diesen Bus ist ein 120 Ω Abschlusswiderstand an beiden Seiten langer Kabel: Einer ist im Six Fold Node platziert, der andere im Sender des SPS-Systemes. Wenn dieses System in der Lage ist vier Nodes zu bedienen, dann sollte für jeden dieser "langen Arme" ein eigener Sender genutzt werden. Der Widerstand unterdrückt Reflexionen, die zwar bei kurzen Kabel (hinter dem Node zum Antrieb) nicht auffallen, bei langen Kabeln und hohen Datenraten aber stören können.|
