====== VME Digital Input/Output (V-DIO) System ====== The V-DIO is a modular VME based system and was mainly developed to control and readout measured signals and status from the Current to Frequency Converter (IFC). The development was done by the swiss company . SVEC FMC Carrier Board As main board the V-DIO is using the from the Open Hardware Repository (OHWR). ===== V-DIO Documents ===== * : V-DIO User Manual and Register Declaration rev. 3075 * V-DIO Kabeltest-Report zur Ansteuerung der IFCs über lange Distanz. * Report preemphasis cable buffer zur Signalverbesserung der RS485-Pulse bei langen Kabeln zw. VDIO und IFC. ===== Documentation for Production and Tests ===== * Important additional information for production and tests PCB design was done with Altium Designer 14.2.3. * \\WinFileSvH\StrahlDiag$root\Common\V-DIO: Schematics, layouts (Altium and PDF files) and production files can be found here. * : Free license application to view the Altium files. Registration on Altium site is necessary. * Programming of the EEPROM on the EL502 Mezzanine
